AWALC Monthly Meeting:
AWALC regularly schedules monthly business meetings throughout the year, which feature guest speakers to present on topics that are relevant and of interest to our members. These monthly meetings are not only open to the entire membership but also to guests.
We meet the 1st Wednesday of each month at 12:00 p.m. at NIRCO. Located at 202 S. Genesee St., Waukegan, IL 60085. Lunch is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. We accept cash, credit card, or check.

Our Next Business Meeting is Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at NIRCO
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at noon, AWALC will host its monthly membership meeting. Please join AWALC as we welcome and hear from Maureen Statland of Compassion and Choices speak about “Deb’s Law” also known as Illinois End of Life Options Act
This meeting with be held at the Northern Illinois Recovery Community Organization (“NIRCO”) building located at: 202 S. Genesee Street, Waukegan, Illinois 60085. All future 2026-2027 AWALC meetings will be held at this location.
We will be having Papa Marcos for lunch. If you would like to enjoy lunch during the meeting, the cost will be $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members.
