Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County
The purpose of AWALC shall be:
- to provide opportunities to build relationships among the legal profession via social interaction;
- to provide continuing legal education in the areas of diversity, inclusion, mental health, substance abuse, civility, ethics and professionalism; and
- to provide funding, in-kind donations, and other assistance to support the most vulnerable in our community, without discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, disability, or criminal history, for such basic human needs such as education, literacy, food, shelter, clothing, hygiene, access to healthcare, access to justice, personal safety and bodily autonomy

AWALC holds monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. Monthly meetings are open to AWALC members as well as other professionals in the legal community.
